Passionate about pastry from an early age, Chadi Karam attended courses at “Le Notre Paris” and various training centers. At the age of 18, he began his career at Le Vendome Intercontinental Hotel, where Chef Charles Azar served as his mentor. Starting as a Pastry Chef, Karam was responsible for the opening and development of the brand “Lily’s” in downtown Beirut. He later became the pastry chef at Cheval Blanc, the luxury hotel in the Maldives. Currently, he is part of the team at Capella Shanghai – Le Comptoir De Pierre Gagnaire.
In a momentous achievement, Chef Chadi Karam, the brilliant Executive Pastry Chef at Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire, has proudly secured the prestigious one Michelin star for the restaurant for the second consecutive year.
