CHEF XAVIER BURELLE BRINGS FRENCH CULINARY EXCELLENCE TO BEIRUT THIS MARCH
Blue Shores International specializes in tourism, gastronomy, and cultural events between Europe and the Middle East. The company is bringing renowned French Michelin-starred chef Xavier Burelle to Lebanon for the first time. From March 9 to 16, 2025, the chef from Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur, will showcase an exciting and diverse program. The event will celebrate French cuisine.
- Monday, March 10: Chef Burelle, in collaboration with Mon Liban d’Azur, will lead a masterclass at the Institut de Gestion des Entreprises at Saint Joseph University (USJ). The session is designed for hospitality students from Institut Lyfe (formerly Paul Bocuse). He will then prepare a special lunch at L’Escapade, a fine-dining training restaurant.
- Wednesday, March 12: Le Petit Gris, a renowned bistronomic restaurant in Gemmayze, Beirut, will host an exclusive dinner. Sixty guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Chef Burelle’s exceptional cuisine (reservation required).
- Thursday, March 13: The chef will start his day at La Cuisine de Mariam, a community canteen in Beirut’s Quarantine district port. He will help prepare the daily meal alongside Father Hani Tawk. This initiative is in collaboration with Mon Liban d’Azur.
- In the evening, he will prepare a surprise dish at the newly opened Marsyas showroom on Rue Pasteur, Gemmayze. This event is by invitation only.
- Friday, March 14: Chef Burelle will host a masterclass at Vresso, Lebanon’s leading professional and industrial kitchen equipment provider. He will treat twenty participants to a seasonal risotto (reservation required).
As the executive chef of Hôtel Amour and Plage Amour in Nice, Burelle specializes in Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. His culinary expertise is sure to captivate Lebanese gourmets.
This event highlights the deep culinary connections between both shores of the Mediterranean.
