In this exclusive interview, Chef Ali shares insights into his career, his philosophy on food, and his vision for the future.
What are your current projects and plans?
I am currently the Advisory Chef for Nestlé Kuwait, where I advocate, educate, and provide culinary guidance to chefs. My role focuses on offering innovative ideas and insights on utilizing our products. These ideas help enhance creativity and efficiency in the kitchen. Through training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations, I aim to inspire culinary professionals. I encourage them to explore new techniques and flavor combinations.
My goal is to bridge the gap between innovation and tradition. I strive to equip chefs with the knowledge and resources to create exceptional dishes. At the same time, I help them maximize Nestlé’s offerings.
Tell us about your professional career.
I have been a chef since 1999, gaining experience in Lebanese, international, and Asian cuisine. Over the years, I have mastered not only the art of cooking but also the skills needed to manage a kitchen. Leading a team effectively has also been a key part of my growth.
My early years in the industry shaped my approach to food. I learned the importance of highlighting key ingredients while maintaining simplicity. At the same time, I focused on keeping dishes exciting. I also adapted to seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. These experiences have refined my craft and deepened my appreciation for the culinary arts.

What is your dream in life?
My dream is to continue evolving as a chef and create a dining experience that brings people together. I aspire to open a unique restaurant where I can showcase my passion for food. My vision is to blend different cuisines while maintaining authenticity and quality.
Sharing my knowledge and mentoring young chefs is something I deeply value. I also want to inspire the next generation in the culinary world. Ultimately, I hope to leave a lasting impact on the food industry. My focus is on promoting creativity, sustainability, and excellence in every dish I create.
