Athyr is not only the first Lebanese single malt whisky but it is also 100% Lebanese made from the malted Barley to its aging in Lebanese Oak.
The first release was composed of 150 serial number bottles filled at cask strength of 56.1 % Abv without any filtration or adding any colouring material was retailing for $100 a bottle and was completely sold out within the first week.
Second release which is composed of serial numbered bottles aged also in Lebanese Oak but have an ABV are 45% and will be retailing for $66.66 per bottle. The second release is scheduled either on the last week of October or the first week of November.
