The renowned French chocolate manufacturer, Valrhona, is significantly boosting the region’s culinary landscape by launching its latest educational and creative facility in Dubai. The state-of-the-art school, set to open in September, will offer a variety of innovative courses and workshops for culinary professionals seeking to elevate their skills.
Valrhona’s decision to establish a school in Dubai reflects the growing demand for high-quality culinary training in the region. Guillaume Lafaix, IMEA Business Unit manager at Valrhona Selection, highlighted the region’s culinary expansion and the company’s desire to bring its century-old expertise to the UAE.
L’École Valrhona Dubai will provide a platform for professionals to explore culinary innovation, combining French savoir-faire with local cultures. The school’s curriculum will encompass a variety of topics, including chocolate-making, vegan pastry, alternative desserts, and creative viennoiseries.
Leading the school’s pastry team is Brice Konan-Ferrand, a seasoned pastry chef with extensive experience in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Konan-Ferrand will be joined by Fatima K. Rahman, an assistant pastry chef with a strong technical background and creative flair.
L’École Valrhona Dubai will offer a range of training programs, including workshops, technical business consulting, conferences, and demonstrations. The courses will be led by experienced pastry chefs from Valrhona and renowned guest chefs, ensuring participants receive the highest quality instruction.
