EM SHERIF: FROM BEIRUT TO LONDON’S HARRODS
Em Sherif has arrived in London, bringing its world-renowned A La Carte Lebanese menu to the UK for the first time along with their very first deli.
Expanding its offering, Beirut’s distinguished restaurant group Em Sherif makes its way to London’s Knightsbridge to showcase its take on refined Lebanese cuisine starting this month.
The 80-seat restaurant is a culinary destination that offers Harrods customers a curated A La Carte menu by chef Mireille Hayek and her daughter chef Yasmina Hayek.
Chef Yasmina has played a particularly integral role in the development of Em Sherif London, creating a concept that harmoniously combines tradition and history with a fresh and contemporary edge.
The menu features an array of mouthwatering dishes including the signature Fattoush salad with pomegranate molasses, sensational Wagyu Hummus and Em Ali; a delicious vanilla-infused milk, nuts and puff pastry. Each dish has been carefully created using only the freshest ingredients and produce available.
Located on the store’s second floor, Em Sherif Restaurant is designed to offer diners a lively yet relaxed destination within Harrods to eat, drink and socialize. The interiors by award-winning designer, Ramy Butros, complement the Lebanese menu, incorporating hand-selected and intricately embroidered chair designs – representing the Hayek family’s culture and history – and beautiful bespoke tiles on the walls.
Alongside the restaurant which marks their first European outpost, the first ever Em Sherif deli has opened in Harrods’ iconic Food Hall, offering customers a taste of Em Sherif to take away.
