4-5 kg. U.S. whole turkey, giblets removed and rinsed
½ cup honey
½ cup mustard
tsp. garlic powder
tsp. black pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Whole almonds, walnuts and currants to garnish
Rub U.S. turkey with garlic powder, pepper and salt.
Place in a roasting pan.
Mix well honey and mustard. Glaze the turkey with mixture, cover and roast inside oven for 2-3 hours or until cooked through to desired doneness.
Uncover turkey in the last 30 minutes of roasting. Serve in a platter with almonds, walnuts and currants.
