INGREDIENTS |
- 250g Flour
- 500g Semolina
- 250g Ghee
- 125g Fresh milk
- 250g Sugar
- 1.5tsp Mahlab
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- 1.5tsp Dry yeast
- 1.5tsp Baking powder
PREPARATION |
- Add the sugar to the milk, then heat until the sugar melts. Once the milk and sugar mixture is warm, add the yeast and mix.
- In a saucepan, melt down the ghee.
- In a blender, put together the flour, semolina, mahlab and nutmeg. Add the warm ghee and mix slowly. Then add the warm milk, sugar and yeast mixture.
- Mix well and rest for 4 hours.
- After resting, in a blender, add the baking powder and mix until the dough is homogeneous.
- Shape into kaak of 60 gr each. Bake at 180°C for around 8-10 minutes until golden.
