INGREDIENTS |
- 2 cups of wheat (washed and drained)
- 3 cups of full fat milk
- Water (to cook the wheat)
- 4 tbsp of honey
- 1 tsp of corn flour
- 1 tsp of rose water
- 1 tsp of orange blossom water
Garnish
- Crushed pistachios (Make sure your child isn’t allergic)
- Raisins
PREPARATION |
- Wash the wheat, drain and place in a pot, boil the wheat with boiling water covering it and a bit more.
- Cook while covered for around 1 hour or until the wheat becomes soft.
- Drain the water, return the wheat the pot, add the milk, corn flour and the honey, place on medium heat until the milk boils, keep stirring until the milk thickens.
- Turn off the heat, add the rose water and orange blossom water and mix.
- Place in the small cups, allow to cool and cover with cling film.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, decorate and serve.
